As a woman of color, an afro-Latina, a 1.5 generation immigrant, and a first-generation college student, it is crucial for me to be able to give back. My identity not only drives my intellectual passion for race, ethnicity, and immigration in America, but my passion to support students in order to improve equity of access to education and resources.
